2. What data we collect
Account data: email address, username, and password (stored in hashed form). Provided by you when creating an account.
Usage data: IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, and streaming activity (which videos are played, for how long). Collected automatically to operate and secure the service.
Payment and transaction data: payments on WAM.TV are handled by specialized third-party payment providers, acting as data processors or independent controllers for payment purposes. Your full card or account details are collected and processed by these providers — we never receive or store complete card numbers. In connection with each transaction we receive and retain: transaction identifiers, the amount, the payment method type, and your billing country and IP address.
Support correspondence: messages you send us via the contact form or email.
3. Why we process your data (purposes and legal bases)
• To provide the service (account management, streaming access, billing): performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• To comply with legal obligations, including tax and VAT rules: legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)). Billing country and IP address are retained as evidence of customer location, as required by EU VAT legislation on electronically supplied services.
• To secure the service (fraud prevention, abuse detection, credential-sharing detection): legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
• To answer your messages: legitimate interest / steps taken at your request.
• To send service emails about your membership (renewal, payment issues, material changes): performance of a contract. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent and every message contains an unsubscribe link.

The Site uses cookies necessary for login sessions and site functionality, and basic analytics cookies to understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may prevent login.
5. Who receives your data
Data may be accessible to service providers appointed as data processors: hosting and content-delivery providers (video streaming infrastructure), payment providers (see Section 2), email service providers, and IT support. All processors are bound by data-processing agreements. We do not sell your data. Data may be disclosed to authorities where the law requires it.
Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep data
• Account data: for the life of the account and up to 3 years after last activity, then deleted or anonymized.
• Transaction data, billing country and IP location evidence: 10 years, as required by Romanian accounting law and EU VAT record-keeping rules.
• Support correspondence: up to 3 years.
• Security logs: up to 12 months.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access your data, obtain a copy, rectify inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing), and receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any right, write to office@wam.tv. We respond within one month.
You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority: ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal), B-dul G-ral Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Bucharest — dataprotection.ro — or with the authority of your country of residence.
8. Age restriction
The Site is intended exclusively for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
